In 2025, the workshop celebrates its 20th anniversary, a very important milestone ! 

Initially focused on silicon based detectors, the workshop now encompasses additional topics, such as MAPS, wide bandgap semiconductor detectors, etc. As usual, the goal of is to bring together experts on sensor technology (design, simulation and processing), front-end electronics, system issues, detector applications (e.g., particle tracking, medical and biological imaging), etc. for discussions of the present state of the art, establishment of requirements of the fields and future programs.
The workshop will consist of invited talks,contributed presentations and posters, with ample time for discussions. 

For the first time, there will be the Workshop Proceedings to be published on JINST.
